Cheryl Lulias named to Modern Healthcare’s Top Women Leaders List

CHICAGO – Medical Home Network (MHN) is proud to announce Cheryl Lulias, President and CEO, was recognized by Modern Healthcare as one of 2022’s Top Women Leaders.

Under Lulias’ leadership, MHN is powering the future of healthcare delivery by creating digitally-connected community-based systems of integrated care. MHN was founded in 2009 by the Comer Family Foundation to improve healthcare delivery for under-resourced communities in Chicago. In the span of little more than a decade, Lulias has taken MHN from the concept stage to a leader in care transformation at the primary care practice level with nationally leading outcomes.

While remaining committed to Chicago, MHN is scaling and replicating its proven care model and approach in new markets with the goal of making a national impact on community health.

“I am honored and humbled to receive this recognition, but it would not be possible without the passionate team members at MHN who are dedicated to transforming care in the safety net,” said Cheryl Lulias, President and CEO of Medical Home Network. “As an organization, we are inspired by the positive impact we are making on community health through practice-level care management and empowering the safety net to deliver better care at a lower cost.”

Now an annual recognition, Modern Healthcare’s Top Women award program honors the top women healthcare executives who are influencing the policy and care delivery models across the country. In doing so, they are also highlighting the continued need to nurture diversity in our organizations.

“The 2022 Class of Top Women Leaders in Healthcare embodies the progress and influence executives make when they’re not afraid to take risks, even during a global crisis,” said Aurora Aguilar, editor for Modern Healthcare. “The women honored prove that strong strategies and empowering their staff to think big can bring significant results for the healthcare organizations they lead and their patients. The honorees chosen out of hundreds of applications and editorial vetting work hard to create satisfying and impactful workplaces for their employees, and advocate for and sponsor opportunities for female leaders. Congratulations to the class of 2022.” The profiles of all the winners are featured in the February 21, 2022 print issue of Modern Healthcare and at https://www.modernhealthcare.com/top-25-women-leaders-2022.
