JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Director, ACO Network Strategy and Value-Based Decisions, the Senior Manager, Delivery Transformation & Value-Based Initiatives will have direct responsibility for MHN Network Engagement & Strategy. The role will lead program development in support of achieving strategic objectives including execution, interim reporting, measurement, and refinement. They will lead efforts to engage the ACO provider network in and around program implementation, including internal cross-matrix, multi-department management and collaboration.

Essential Functions

Network Engagement & Strategy

 Support ACO’s digital transformation and technology strategy through internal cross functional collaboration and external account management; improves programmatic operations

 Plans relevant project scopes, goals, deliverables, tasks, and resource requirements for programs

 Contributes to network strategy, analyzes Cook County, Illinois, and National market/policy to define and present business development opportunities

 Collaborates with stakeholders, clients, and vendors as necessary to ensure successful execution and completion of projects and ongoing program/account management.

 Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of program implementation, training, and ongoing account management of select programs

 Explore new innovative and industry relevant topics to guide any new or ongoing program development, expansion & implementation of best practice interventions.

 Participate with contract management & compliance operations for MHN, ACO, and affiliates.

 Serve as a Subject Matter Expert and ACO representation on projects for content of current program initiatives and new business opportunities that may results in new programming.

Multi-payor Multi-product Implementation

 Collaborates cross-functionally to implement ACO multi-payor contracts, including planning, roll-out, measurement, and contract monitoring.

 Assists with ACO Network education and material production regarding new contract requirements, opportunities, and initiatives.

Governance

 Supports communication strategy and promotes relational management of participating provider organizations, executive teams, and operational leadership.

 Is jointly responsible for organization, production, and execution of the meetings of ACO governance bodies including Meetings of the Members, Board of Managers, Network Management committee, and any subcommittees or workgroups thereof.

ACO Operations

 Works with executive and operational leadership to define and support achievement of ACO goals, objectives, and relevant process measures.

Other Duties

 Lends technology and program management subject matter expertise to cross collaborative efforts within the organization.

 Collaborates with TechOps, Clinical Integration, Data Analytics, Finance, and other teams to develop and roll out programming for MHN and MHN ACO.

 Demonstrates organizational and ACO knowledge as well as expertise on the features and functionalities of MHN’s suite of technology-based care management tools and cost and utilization reporting tools.

 Uses, protects, and discloses MHN and MHN ACO patients’ protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards.


Competencies

 Considerable knowledge of Managed Care and delivery system business operations for health plan and health care provider organizations, with detailed understanding of government programs operations in IL and nationally, as applicable

 Detailed information gathering, analysis, and investigation to understand complex problems and propose strategic solutions

 Strong ability to express ideas clearly in both written and oral communications, including strong presentation skills

 Ability to lead in the development, organization, analysis, and implementation of processes and procedures

 Excellent interpersonal skills including relationship building and relationship management

 Ability to work across different departments and disciplines

 Ability to adapt quickly to change, manage multiple concurrent priorities

 Experience with Microsoft Office suite


Required Education

Bachelor’s degree required in health administration, business management, public policy or elated field, Master’s preferred
