Our dynamic, rapidly growing company in a vibrant downtown Chicago setting is seeking a full-time Project Manager for our PMO team. The position is being added as a result of continued growth in our organization and will report to the Senior Project Manager. This is an opportunity to be a part of a unique and exciting organization.

The Project Manager is responsible for planning and managing business, technical and transformation project initiatives. Success in these initiatives is achieved by aligning and partnering with the key stakeholders across MoreCare (a wholly owned subsidiary of MHN) and utilizing exceptional project management skills as articulated by PMBOK methodology.

The Project Manager is accountable for leading, implementing, maintaining and improving people, process and technology capabilities across the enterprise; and plays a lead role in driving initiatives and teams towards realization of both quantitative and qualitative benefits that are aligned with MoreCare’s overall strategy.


Essential Functions of the Role

· Lead the discovery, planning, execution and closure of strategic initiatives

· Organize, initiate, and manage business and technical projects end-to-end

· Organize and motivate project teams for each project composed of representatives from each area affected by the project

· Create and manage project plans from scratch in Smartsheet, while working with key stakeholders across the enterprise to establish and build timelines

· Determine the tasks associated with each project, assign internal and/or external resources to complete the necessary tasks, and work with Finance to provide estimates of project costs

· Develop strategic, operational, process and project specific metrics, as applicable, to baseline and monitor performance, provide visibility into necessary corrective action and define overall success

· Provide updates, presentations, and analyze data, resources, costs, savings, and provide recommendations for individual projects as well as groups of projects

· Run weekly core team and other project meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, complete weekly project status reports, and run bi-weekly Steering Team meetings, and create PowerPoint presentations

· May manage and or mentor employees within the function including goal-setting, performance planning, feedback, appraisals and development training

· Partnering with cross-functional teams, execute plans to achieve objectives while assessing and mitigating risks and issues to ensure successful delivery of programs/projects

· Within the project environment, provide guidance, training, and support on and use of applicable methodology principles, themes, templates and processes

· Provide subject matter expertise and drive adoption and standardization of industry best in class project processes, metrics and overall solutions

· Lead and manage process optimization and promote commonality in project processes and tools. Use Continuous Improvement capabilities (PMI, Six Sigma, Lean, Agile, and validation tools coupled with project management Software)

Required Competencies

· Experience leading functional integration efforts

· Healthcare implementation experience

· Prior Experience working within a complex virtual team environment and leading project activities

· Ability to lead change and demonstrate an understanding of change management and the tools used to effectively embed change in the organization

· Proficient use of Project Management Tools for planning, scheduling, task management and work organization

· Advanced Microsoft Office skills

· Tech savvy

· Ability to organize and prioritize workflow and to meet established timeframes Ability to lead teams and drive for results

· Ability to successfully interface with all levels of the organization

· Strong business acumen

· Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence outcomes and gain team member and stakeholder buy in


Minimum Qualifications

· Minimum five (5) years relevant experience in project management role.

· Project Management experience in managing process improvement, business integration, business transformation, IT and other related projects, required.

· PMP Certified

· Healthcare Experience Required, Medicare experience preferred

· Must be highly organized, detail-oriented and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Knowledge of Project Management principles and methodology (including Agile, Scrum, Waterfall framework)


Education

Bachelor’s degree - in a discipline appropriate to the project environment
